Can someone explain Daniel 11 and 12 and the connection with Revelation?

The book of Daniel IS about future prophecies. It was written about 600 yrs before Christ was born. The two kingdoms I blelieve are now modern Russian being the north kingdom and the middle east as the south kingdom.When they go to war against each other Israel will be surrounded. In Revelation it is the battle of Armegeddon, when Christ returns for judgement. The ones written in the Lambs book of life are the ones who have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior and will reign with Him in the new heaven and earth. Hope this helps explain some it.
