Could confusion about Obama's religion be because when he speaks of Salvation it differs from Christianity's?

How someone can go to church for 20 years and say over and over that they are saved by collective salvation I will never know. I don't know of any christian faith that says that. I found out yesterday Oprah also went to Rev. Wrights church. That explains a lot. Those that are saying they don't believe in Christianity will hopeful change their minds before they die. I have see several on their death beds do just that.
