My little Puppy...?

It's my first day away from my little puppy. Did anyone else have seperation anxiety from being away from their little one? Aww....I miss him! What should I set up so my puppy is not so upset when I leave? My husband said puppy Sammy was upset and had a few "mistakes" and barked for awhile after I left. What can be done to ease my puppy?
